Aim of the game

Line up a run of 4 discs of the same colour on a grid of 6 rows and 7 columns. Each player has 21 discs of one colour. In turn, the two players drop a disc into the column of their choice; the disc slides down to the lowest available position in that column, and then it is the opponent's turn. The winner is the first player to make a consecutive line — horizontal, vertical or diagonal — of at least four discs of their colour. If every square of the grid is filled and neither player has lined up four discs, the game is declared a draw.
